HONEST! SEE! UPDATE!

Wtf, I seriously haven't updated this journal since the day before Otakon? Goddamn!

Well, let me try to sum up my shenanigans since then?

Otakon:
It consisted of, on Friday, a shit load of Hetalia shenanigans. That included getting random Hetalians to sign my Hetalia jeans (And looking back, still incredibly grateful that people I knew ran into me first and signed the awkward spots. Even though I still do NOT appreciate Prussia greeting me with "bend over america!" so she could sign my rear). It also included France transforming into Britannia Angel, and leaping behind serious pictures. And just other crack events.

Best of all. Odin Sphere EPIC TIMEZ! Which included frolicking with Mandy as Gwendolyn and Kasey as Oswald. Running into other fans. Emoing over leaving Ingway-frog at home. Taking awesome photos. Getting compliments by people who live in Baltimore. And a hug from the most adorable little kid EVER (seriously, the kid hugged us all, even spiky-legged Oswald!)

And, of course, "NOT AS PLANNED!"

Oh Odin Sphere. How I love you. And am excited to see our little duo expand into a group.

Otakon also involved Pokemon shenanigans. That included free candy and getting attacked by Team Rocket.

Road Trip to Austria's

As everyone here probably knows, back at AnimeNext I met a group of Hetalia cosplayers who I've become very good friends with <3. And well, a couple weeks after Otakon, myself, Megan, ~Temiisen/France and Hong Kong (who lacks a DA) went on an epic road trip to our friend ~EllianMeir's for a party/sleepover.

The road trip there itself was... Epic. And involved getting HORRIBLY lost, serenading people in other cars (that guy will never return to Jersey France), flipping people off, IRISH RAGE, my new hatred for one way streets and just... Epic fun times.

The party consisted of me now having a fear of Megan with water noodles, epic pool battles, palm reading, ME BEING TOLD TO PLAY ON THE BOYS SIDE DURING A BOYS VS GIRLS VOLLEY BALL MATCH. FU ALL!, Apples to Apples CRACK, accents, me being mocked for not eating my crusts, CAAAVEEEMAAAAN, and... other stuff that I am most likely neglecting.

Oh yeah. Her demonic cat.


Beach

I had a beach adventure with some of my closest pals. Epic times were had. I got to see the most AMAZING fun house EVER. OMG! KOU YOU'RE SO SCREWED NOW!

Apparently when Mandy first went into the fun house, she went "Cat needs to see this"

So when we went in, she took my camera to take refs for me, while I just explored in amazement. Really it was amazing. And we had so much fun. But I think we scared some little kids with our enthusiasm to go down the slides xD At least Don and I did.

I was also buried up to my neck in the sand, and turned into a mermaid. And I believe Mandy was like "WE CAN GIVE HER BOOBS" or somethin like that D< (Mandy I miss youuuuuu)

I also learned that Mark and I can very easily be taken away via the waves. And I am very easily launched over waves.

However, getting knocked over by one, then when you recover get knocked over by another one AND Sarah is not fun XD

GymTalia

Hokay. If no one knows... I've been apart of a massive gathering for next Saturday for Gakuen Hetalia. Its going to be CRAZY. And I'm going to want to shoot myself during it. I know it @_@ We have a really large group. But we have a couple very good officers (myself included, though I'm somewhat fail since I keep missing meetings xD) running it~ So it should work out in the end.

But right, sooo randomly, in the thread I had mentioned creating a gym outfit for the school, and half way through the shoot changing into it and surprising everyone...

Low and behold, a mini shoot was held. Much more relaxed then the proper Gakuen shoot would be, and not we nearly as many people as we are going to have @_@ It was in Princeton too, which was good for me. And epic times were had. And then after wards, a mob of people crashed at my place due to them just living far away.

No sleep was had. Lotsa crack occurred. Did you all know Sweden loves Saunas? Yeah, crack occurred. I can't even go into it XD would take too long.

And of course, the next day we all joined forces, went into NYC, and went to a Japanese festival that wasn't really a festival. And Kat and I had Cold War times cause I one, fell asleep on her shoulder, and two held her hand the entire time because I told her mom I would XD

Ren. Faire

I also finally got to go to another Ren. Faire back in September. And omg, it was amazing! I only really wish I could've brought Mandy with me, as I kept remembering how fun the small one we went too at Mercer was. Omg Mandy... I think I need to drag you to this one, and Brendan, if you'd like, next year cause... Yeah.

But right, Ren. Faire. Went with Hetalia people, who all did their respective Nation in younger forms, 'cept ~HeavenSealed who was a very awesome Jeanne D'Arc~. Originally too, I was gonna be Little!Ireland, to accompany Megan's Little!England buuut. Yeah, that didn't happen...

So Prussia used her epic powers to help me pull together a Colonial!America. She also was epic and cut my wig along with France @@ I learned so many new things that night~ It was awesome!

Also, they all witnessed me freaking out over Robin Hood ;; I'm such a dork...

SHU Reports

Naturally, I've moved back into the dorms and such. Much easier time then last year. But then again, I am suitemates with two of my closet friends up here. And really like... My only ones XD Nah, just kidding. I'm expanding! I'm meeting lotsa new people! And I might be goin' away next year, so heads up...

But right. First few days were Roommate Bonding time. Where we watched 10th Kingdom...

It.

Was.

EPIC.

That is all.

And then, classes started @_@ Its been tough, but I'm surviving. I've been shocked with some of my grades. But I guess that means I just have to work harder!!!

I just hope I'll get good final grades...

Our Anime Clubs also thriving. New members~ And there all really awesome. And goofing off and getting ice cream after meetings has become an odd little tradition. A yummy one~

Halloween

Was spent with the most amazing people in the world. Mandy, Brendan and Katrina. People who I do not see enough of. And it makes me sad. But the moment I'm with all of them <3

You guys truly are some of my closet friends.

We didn't get to do much trick or treating, with rain and all, but epic fun times were had.

And Brendan, I can't read Lady Gaga's name now without remembering your costume, and you being 'Sir Gaga' and I snicker. And then get odd looks.

And Katrina makes quite an attractive man, if she says so herself.

Zenkaikon '09

That was last weekend. And let me start off by saying. Septa Sucks. Waiting 2 1/2 hours for a con badge is not fun. Not realizing that registration was going to be outside, and thus not grabbing your jacket, is not fun (Spain and Italy were heroes bringing us our jackets!), seeing people get turned away cause they ran out of badges made me sad, little bits of drama made me D:

BUT IN THE END MY FRIENDS ARE AWESOME, THUS FUN TIMES WERE HAD!!! And lotsa photos were taken.

Ummm... I am SO forgetting stuff...

Gah. I wish I had a scanner up here so I could post ART! All I have is cosplay photos orz; I don't even have stories, as I'm focusing on Nanowrimo at the moment. Meaning all the plot bunnies for Chained series has to be put on hold.

It makes me sad.

I miss people.

Mandy. I still demand a movie marathon next time we see each other.
